He is survived by: his wife Sharon Holmes (Banks) of Shawneetown; his children, Mandi Holmes Dial of Harrisburg, IL and Josh Holmes (Susie) of Shawneetown; his grandchildren, Grant and Hallie Holmes of Shawneetown; his sister Norma Scherrer (John) of Alabama; his niece Cassie Scherrer; and his brother Terry Lynn Holmes.
