With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gail Marie Wenzel (Shawneetown, Illinois), who passed away on May 13, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Wilbur Frank Stanelle and Ronita Ruth Osby Stanelle; her siblings, Michael Frank Stanelle and Sandra Stanelle Butts; and her husband David Allen Wenzel.
She is survived by: her brother Gregory "Greg" Thomas Stanelle (Gail); her friend Becky Stanelle; her sister-in-law Mealanie Stanelle; her daughter Marion Ruth Marshall (Patrick James Marshall); her grandchildren, Samuel Patrick Marshall (Katonna Nichole Marshall) and Katie Gail Marshall (Victor); and her great grandchildren, Alijah Eugene Chapman (Marshall), Novah Skylynn Legg (Marshall) and Bellamy Ray James Marshall. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, large extended family.
