He was predeceased by: his brother Justin "Rudy" Brooks. He is survived by: his parent David Brooks (Lori) of Shawneetown; and his sister Holly Brooks McVey (Vicki). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins and many friends.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be done at the Hogan Cemetery south of Shawneetown, where he will be laid to rest next to his brother.
