We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 87, Elbert Edwin Brink of Shattuc, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Brink and Louise Brink (Michael); his parents-in-law, Gilbert and Bertha Kroeger; his siblings, Mildred Miessner and Leroy; his sister-in-law Eileen Brink; his brother Melvin Brink; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Kroeger, Hilmer Mueller and Willard Arbeiter.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Kroeger; his children, Jeffrey Brink (Kathryn) of Sandoval, Cheryl Vohlken (Kenneth) of Highland, Darrell Brink (Dawn) of Shattuc and Wayne Brink (Jennifer) of Shattuc; his grandchildren, Ashley Vosholler (Cory) of Highland, Matthew Vohlken (Paige) of Shattuc, Amanda Brink (Luke Birkner) of Shattuc and Nathan Brink of Shattuc; his great grandchildren, Kade Vosholler, Gavin Vosholler and Cole Vohlken; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Miessner of Nashville, Ruth Brink of Sandoval, Ruth Ann Arbeiter of Gorham and James Kroeger of Hoyleton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, or Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School.
