She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Chevalier and Helene Chevalier (Caltaux); her husband James Powell; and her siblings, Susan Norris, Annie Desfontaines, Lise Van Renen and Andre Chevalier.
She is survived by: her daughter Eileen (Andy); her grandchildren, Wayne Anderson (Carol) and Tracey Anderson; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Barker (Brad) and Andrew Anderson Birkholz; and her daughter Roselind Seats of Ventura.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Wendelin Catholic Church Shannon, Illinois.
