He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Alvey and Edna Alvey (Erdmier); and his siblings, Peggy, Joan, Wendy, Janice, John and David.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Deal; his sons, Travis Alvey (Kalah) and Thane Alvey (Kelly); his grandchildren, Kenny, Kory, Brenna and Teagan; and his sisters, Sally Schaar and Jackie Warfield (Roy).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hermann Funeral Home (37 E Market St, Shannon, IL 61078). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Bethel United Methodist Church (217 S Hickory St, Shannon, IL 61078). A burial was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at the Brethren Cemetery.
