With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois E. Cheeseman of Shannon, Illinois, born in Forreston, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John DeVries and Henrietta DeVries (Reintz); her husband Emerson Cheeseman; her son Lynn; her daughter-in-law Quayla; and her siblings, Mildred Vietmeier, Gladys Ludewig and Paul DeVries (Leone).
She is survived by: her children, Jay Cheeseman of Shannon, Carol Larson (Don) of Freeport and Diane Mead (Wayne) of Sun Prairie, WI; her daughter-in-law Jan Cheeseman of Fort Meyers, FL; her grandchildren, Rod Bass (Lisa), Angela Chang (Steve), Jennifer Mead, Melissa Linzmeyer (Chad), Krista Rainwater (Brett), Kara Conley (Shawn), Joshua Cheeseman, Wendy Domino and Rori Schrader (Jamie Pfile); and her sister-in-law Phyllis West of Lakeland, FL.. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
