He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Martin and Mabel Martin (Kloepping). He is survived by: his wife Bernice Derrer; his children, Doug, Debbie, Douglas Martin (Linda) of Lena, IL, Deborah Cieliesz (Mike) of Dalton, WI, Patricia Miller (Gale) of Shannon, IL and Amy Kenneke (Steve) of Lantana, TX.; his grandchildren, Auburn, Angie, Brandon, Bryan, Brittany, Bradley, Faith, Isabelle and Caleb; and his great grandchildren, Paisley, Jade, Jameson, Jackson and Brylee. He is also survived by Three step grandchildren, Seven step great-grandchildren and one step great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Bethel United Methodist Church in Shannon and FHN Hospice of Freeport IL.
