She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Miller and Alma Miller (Bennehoff); her husband Fred Thompson; her siblings, Darrell Miller, Nola Lomax (Bill), Jan Stees, Marilyn Rugland (Ralph), Linda Gronewold (Ronald) and Barbie Miller; and her daughter-in-law Jodie Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Shawn Smith (Marylin), Melanie Hart and Shane Smith (Wendy Beckwith); her grandchildren, Jacob, Denise Smith, Andrew, Jonathan Knapp, Eden and Sophie Smith; her brother Wayne Miller (Jo); and her brother-in-law Bill Stees. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
