She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Schmidt and Gladys Schmidt (Daniels); her uncle Herman Henning (Mildred); and her sister Gladys Kampen (Robert "Bud" Wenzel). She is survived by: her sons, Maurice Wenzel (Donna) of Rockledge, FL, Elwyn Wenzel (Kathy) of Port Charlotte, FL and Kevin Wenzel (Claudia) of Freeport, IL; her grandchildren, Elliot Wenzel (Jennifer) of Everett, WA, Talia Wenzel (Robin Ganguly) of London, UK, Ryan Frisbie (Carey) of McHenry, IL, Nikolas Wenzel of Park Ridge, IL and Zachary Wenzel (Jessica) of Chicago, IL; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Payton, Lila, Owen, Louisa and Alastor.
