With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Donald L. Schrader of Shannon, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Schrader and Margaret Schrader (Janssen); and his siblings, Carol, Lorraine, Garry and Leslie.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Schrader of Shannon; his children, Eryn Rubino (Michael) of West Jordan, UT, Michelle "Shely" Zubler (Joe) of German Valley, Eric Schrader of Shannon, Thad Schrader (Kat) of Bloomington and Michael Fox (Tami) of Forreston; and his siblings, Arlene Koeller of Lanark, Elaine Hull of Denver, CO, Larry Schrader (Bert) of Surprise, AZ and Lonnie Schrader (Wendy) of Freeport. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Ronald McDonald House of Madison and the Shannon Fire and Ambulance Services.
