With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane M. Nelson of Shannon, Illinois, born in Story City, Iowa, who passed away on December 26, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Allan J. Osmundson; her husband William "Bill" Nelson; and her brother Keith Osmundson. She is survived by: her mother Phyllis J. Osmundson (Jacobson) of Story City, IA; her children, Shawn Nelson (Jennifer) of Monroe, NC and Nicole Ruter (Kyle) of Shannon, IL; her brother Steve Osmundson (Ange) of Fort Worth, TX; and her grandchildren, Kylee, Kamdyn Ruter, Olivia and James Nelson.
