It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Woessner of Shannon, Illinois, who passed away on October 12, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Edler and Kathryn Edler (Crouse); her husband James Woessner; her daughters, Ann and Lisa; her brothers, Rex and Max; and her daughter-in-law Nola Goeke Woessner.

She is survived by: her son William Woessner (Sally) of Shannon; her grandchildren, Kathryn Woessner of Lafayette, CO and Samuel Woessner of Oak Park, IL; and her brother Lynn Edler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
