He was predeceased by: his father Robert Allen; and his brother Dale Allen. He is survived by: his mother Billie Allen Sr. (Bowlin) of DuQuoin; his daughter Kacie Gaffney (Mike) of Ballwin, MO; his grandsons, Graham Gaffney and George Gaffney; and his sister Kandace Porter (David) of DuQuoin.
