She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Fred and Mary Ann Laird (Clark); her spouse Thomas Logan Newbury; her daughter Mary Jane Gee; her son-in-law Terry Gee; and her brother James Fred Laird.
She is survived by: her children, Tom D. Newbury (Kay) of Sesser, Janice Page (Robert) of Benton and Janine Kelley (Larry) of Akin; her grandchildren, Andy Joe Gee (Marrianne), Knox Gee (Natasha), Tommy A. Newbury, Matthew Newbury (Malori), Benjamin Newbury (Terri), Sarah Tepovich (Justin), Brandon Page, Ashley Kern (Travis) and Erin Page; and her sisters, Fannie May Carter of Paducah, KY, Mitzie Jo Harris of Florissant and Wanda Newbury of Sesser.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Horse Prairie Cemetery (6543 County Rd 1700 N, Sesser, IL 62884).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made tot he Horse Prairie Cemetery and will be accepted at the cemetery.
