It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Groomer of Sesser, Illinois, born in Beech Grove, Indiana, who passed away on December 21, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lodus Groomer and Myra Groomer; and his son Dean Groomer. He is survived by: his wife Julie Polk; his sons, Timothy Polk and Jonathon Polk; and his daughter-in-law Chandra Polk. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
