He was predeceased by: his parents, Merida Melear and Effie Melear (Morse); and his wife Jackie Melear. He is survived by: his granddaughter Heather Panzier (Joshua) of Sesser; and his daughters, Jacklyn Neuman, Janice Edwards and Jeanine Lucas. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
