She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willis Rhine and Mary Olive Rhine; her siblings, Everett Rhine and Barbara Crain; and her children, George Merkel (Natalie) of Portland, Robert Merkel (Cynthia) of Mt. Vernon, Christopher Cox (Jennifer) of Carlyle and Paula Merkel.
