With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joanne Butler of Sesser, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burt Lemons and Opal Lemons (Inglett); her husband Fred Butler; her son-in-law Bob Doerr; her grandson Keith Prather; and her great grandchild Kenny Grob.
She is survived by: her children, Mick Spotanski (Brenda) of DuQuoin and Patty Doerr of Sesser; her grandchildren, Robert Doerr (Judy), Cristina Toedebusch (Brian), Sheri Grob (Travis) and Kelly Spotanski Jansen; her great grandchildren, Jessica, Dylan, Lily, Korteney, Lane and Paige; her great great grandchildren, Jameson, Chris Jr., Lydia, Lucas Keith, Chesni, Vayda, Tristen and Kelisy; and her close friend Paula Rone of Sesser.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Sesser-Valier Outdoormen's Club, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
