He was predeceased by: his parent Merritt Philp. He is survived by: his daughter Susan Philp Baier (Eric) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; his siblings, Elizabeth Moore (James) of Mount Vernon, James Philp of Waltonville and Mary Susan Philp (Orin Heend) of Arlington, Virginia; and his friend Joann Walker of Waltonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
