He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Atchison and Helen Johnson (Baggott); his grandparents, Jack and Ella Atchison (Stover); his siblings, Betty and Jack Atchison; and his aunt Essie Atchison Smith Hayse.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Barbara Atchison (Stewart); his children, Donna Yunkus (Richard) of Benton, Dena Fox (Alan) of Sesser, Larry Atchison (Delisia Steele) of Sesser, Ron Atchison (Michele) of Spring Hill, FL and Darin Atchison (Angie) of Sesser; his grandchildren, Alicia Wuebbles (Darin), Lindsey Darnell (Andrew), Ethan Atchison, Melissa Way (Nathan), Brittany Atchison, Dailyn Noble (Trey Sharp), Jayden Fox, Natasha Fox, Alan Fox Jr., Cody Atchison and Phillip Atchison; and his sister Diane Stahl of Mulkeytown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
