She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wheeler and Mary Wheeler (Mann); her husband Bernard A. Thompson of Seneca; her children, Donald Thompson and Brenda Thompson Elliott; and her brothers, Harold, Alonzo, George, John and Ted Wheeler.
She is survived by: her children, Bernidean Wright (Chris) of Jaspar, IN, William Thompson (Linda) of Minooka, Larry Thompson of Seneca, Sandy Ramirez (Pete) of Seneca, Tammy McClain (Wally) of Seneca and David Thompson (Shella) of Ottawa. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
