With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Ward Plane (Seneca, Illinois), born in Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on February 1, 2020 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Plane and Betty Plane (Gladding); and his son-in-law Chris Gayon. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann of Huntley; his children, Robin Ehrlich (Paul) of Guilford, CT, Michelle Gayon of Wenona and Chris Plane (Guitar) of Fort Worth, TX; his grandchildren, Jessica, Jeffrey, Levi, Zachary, Paul, Anna, Maxwell and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Brynn and Kaisley; and his siblings, Susan Neilsen, Debbie Robinson (Jeff) and Alan Plane (Lori). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to First Congregational Church of Marseilles or Joliet Area Hospice.
