She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Griffin and Mable Griffin (Paul); her husband James L. Steele; her son Randy Steele; her granddaughter Megan Steele; and her siblings, Ruth Reynolds, Delores Harper, James Griffin and John "Jack" Griffin.
She is survived by: her uncle Thomas; her aunts, Irene Roe, Rose Malone and Dorothy "Dot" Underhill; her son Jim Steele (Gail) of Stavanger; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Shane (Molly), Robert (Morgan), Andrea, Nathan (Nicole Sliwicki), Shannon Steele and Donica Sokolinski; her great grandchildren, Poppy, Noelle, Aurora, Trevor, Cheyenne, Bela, Miles and Sullivan; her great great grandchildren, Price and Gus; and her brother Mike Griffin (Julie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
