It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella Rooney of Seneca, Illinois, born in Streator, Illinois, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Johnson and Mable Johnson; her husband Bernard W Rooney; her daughter Barbara Griffin (Jerry); and her siblings, Lloyd Johnson (Mae), Florence Dunn (Elwin) and Howard Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Rooney (Carol), Tom Rooney (Laura) and Patty Osborne (David); and her grandchildren, Erin Rooney, Alison Straitiff, Shannon Rooney, Patrick Griffin, Kelsey Monroe, John Rooney, Vanessa Musser, Kaitlyn Funk, Michael Osborne, Warren Rooney, Braden Rooney and Dylan Lydic. She is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
