He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Homer and Bertha Agnes Shockey (Baker); his wife Violet Elaine Blue of Marseilles; and his siblings, Homer Shockey, Mildred, Donna, Audrey and Delores.
He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Jackson (Ray) of Seneca; his grandchildren, Zachary Schumaker (Felicia) of Seneca, Carissa Faletti (Brian) of Diamond and Mercedes Jackson of Evansville, IN; his great grandchildren, Malaki, Kenley, Reese, Riley, Logan, Reagan and Kaia; and his sister Bertha Sue Kern of Streator.
Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association or the Joliet Area Community Hospice.
