He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Thorson and Elma Thorson (Danielson); his son John Phelps; and his brother Robert Thorson. He is survived by: his children, Jayme Thorson of Utica and Duanne Thorson (Maryjane); his grandchildren, Tristen, Syklar Wicks, Derick, Dillon, Nicole, Max, Dustin Thorson and Michael Brown; and his siblings, Carol Thorson of Seneca, Alice Johnston of Ottawa and Edward Thorson of Morris. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
