With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harriet B. Koetz of Seneca, Illinois, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Axel Swanson and Bertha Swanson (Oberg); her husband Walter Koetz of Streator; her grandson Kevin Koetz; her son-in-law Doug Simpson; and her siblings, Shelby Tobias, Helmar, Kenneth and Gerald Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, Dee Simpson of Englewood, FL, Robert Koetz (Janice) of Marseilles, James Koetz of Oswego, Denise Andreatta (Rick) of Seneca, Don Koetz (Julie) and Larry Koetz (Laurie); her grandchildren, Tracy Harris, Trent Simpson, Chelsea Long, Jeff Koetz, Ryan Koetz, Matt, Nick, Jaclyn Andreatta, Allisa Koetz, Amber Johnson, Adam Koetz, Haley Koetz and Travis Koetz; her sister Hazel Fellows of Streator; and her sister-in-law Jean Swanson. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
