It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Callender of Secor, Illinois, born in Kentland, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Burke and Florence L. Burke (Simmons); her husband Robert E. Callender; and her sister Hazel Gagnon. She is survived by: her children, Michael, Elaine and Roger Callender (Doreen); and her grandchildren, Alec Callender and Kayleigh Helenthal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Ark animal shelter in Lacon.
