He was predeceased by: his son Levi. He is survived by: his parents, Sharon Schwarzlose (Mike) and Jack Heyungs (Cindy); his wife Cara Hittle; his children, Tyler Gazelle, Faughn Pierson (Blayze), Lucas Heyungs and Lexi Heyungs; his grandson Xander; and his siblings, Lisa Myers (Mark), Kelly Covey (Jake) and Kevin Heyungs. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews; Aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Kurt.
