He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Wright and Clellia Beatrice Wright (Cookerly). He is survived by: his wife Edwina Douglas; and his children, Edina Wright of Seaton, William A Wright, Jr. (Karen Sayre), Doug (Kelly Wright) and Mera (Chad McLean).

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and sent to Speer Funeral Home, Aledo, who is assisting the family.
