He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. and Mary H. Pelker (Hester). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hatzel; his children, Mary C. Roberson of Brighton, IL, Walter L. Pelker, Jr. (Karen) of Scheller and James M. Pelker of Scheller; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Santiago, Breanne Pelker and Kiley Kosydor; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Santiago, Maddox Santiago, Cyrus Santiago, Ariella Santiago and Westin Kosydor.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Catholic Church (223 S 3rd St, Du Bois, IL 62831). A Mass will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Friends may make memorials to Masses, St. Charles Catholic Church or St. Charles Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
