He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Ratajczyk and Helen Ratajczyk (Betlewjewski); and his siblings, Delores Radake, Joann Mendel and Norman Ratajczyk.

He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline Hall (Jody) of Mt. Vernon, Brian Ratajczyk (Tammy) of Bartelso, IL, Craig Ratajczyk (Gina) of Cumberland, RI and Allison Kujawa (Todd) of Woodlawn, IL; his brother Conrad Ratajczyk of Tamaroa; his grandchildren, Austin Ratajczyk, Alexa Ratajczyk, Colton Ratajczyk, Greyson Ratajczyk, Genevieve Ratajczyk, Jacob Kujawa and Harlee Kujawa; and his pet Ruby.

Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
