It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Heleniak of Schaumburg, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 29, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Heleniak and Pauline Heleniak; and his siblings, Lorraine Makula, Stanley Heleniak (Vera), LuLu Emrich (Frank), Alex Heleniak and Dorothy Hayner (Bob).

He is survived by: his wife Karen Heleniak; his children, Kim Dornbos (Joe), Tom Heleniak (Phyllis) and Brian Heleniak (Tracey); his grandchildren, Jensen (Sam Costa), Nathan, Taylor, Justin, Rowan and Ethan; and his siblings-in-law, Dan Bator (Sandy) and Flo Heleniak. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
