It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan E. LaDore of Schaumburg, Illinois, born in Charleston, West Virginia, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas and Geneva of Palatine; and her siblings, Daniel of Palatine and Pamela of Rolling Meadows. She is survived by: her siblings, Toni Estlund of Schaumburg, Mary LaDore of Humble, TX and Tom; and her sisters-in-law, Mary LaDore of McHenry and Kathy LaDore of Palatine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

She ended part-time employment with First Student Charter of Schaumburg due to COVID-19 health risks.

“Dear Toni, Tom, Mary and Kathy- I just found out what happened with Susan. I’m heartbroken as she was such a giver and enjoyed life, family and friends to the utmost. She cracked me up, always. Get Susan and Lynn together and they’re their own comedy act. Susan helped me to learn to love reading. She was THE most generous person I have ever known. She was my best friend! My heart has a hole in it. I was blessed to know her!”
