He was predeceased by: his brothers, Gus Botes (Mary) and Steve Botes (Marge). He is survived by: his wife Doris Sandberg; his daughter Laurel Zaepfel (Joseph); and his granddaughters, Sarah Zaepfel and Julia Zaepfel. He is also survived by many nieces & nephews and their children.
