With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell L Marcanio (Schaumburg, Illinois), who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

And, of course, neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet nor dark of night could keep Russell from making his generous weekly donation to the State of Illinois via their lottery system. His largest philanthropic commitments, however, were reserved for two organizations where he was known to donate generously on a regular basis.
