He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Fabian (Sandahl); his daughters, Karen Ilc (Jerry), Sharon Jopa (Philip) and Robin Jopa (Paul); and his grandchildren, Bill Ilc (Michele), Brian Ilc (Ally), Mike Jopa (Jocelyn), Kristin Hauser (Patrick), Jeff Jopa (Tracy), Paul Ryan Jopa (Katie), Greg Jopa (Raquel), Brett Jopa (Stacey) and Chris Jopa. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
