He is survived by: his parents, Elaine Hird and Raymond Hird; his wife Christine; his son Anthony (Reed Caldwell); his sisters, Linda Campbell (Donald) and Jane English (William); and his brothers-in-law, Michael Porcaro (Joanne) and Frank Porcaro (Gina). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
