She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Leon; her daughter Heather Taxon (Tom); her grandchildren, Grey (Lexy) and Drake (Katy); her parents, William P. Vollriede and Mildred "Mitt" Vollriede; her siblings, William R. Vollriede and Nadeen Sahr (late James); and her siblings-in-law, Bobbie Pallasch (late Patrick) and Rosemary Pallasch (late Carl). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviour's United Methodist Church (701 E Schaumburg Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60194).
