Josephine Mockbee Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Mockbee (Schaumburg, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine Mockbee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Emory Lewis Mockbee (Mac); and her daughter Diane Karras (Jim). She is survived by: her children, Karen O'Dowd (Mike), Susan Mika, Steven Mockbee (Jiaqi) and Michael Mockbee; her grandchildren, Katherine (O'Dowd), Jonathan Bueno, Kelly O'Dowd, Deanna (Karras), Rayner Olson, Anne Marie (O'Dowd), Mohammed Zaghba, Sarah Kushner, Alyssa Mockbee, Lewis Mockbee and Kaitlyn Mockbee; and her great grandchildren, Keegan O'Dowd, Riley Pekarek, Junah Bueno, Remey Bueno, Nicolas Aranda and Leena Bueno.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services LTD. (330 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60195). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Hubert Church (729 Grand Canyon St, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169). A burial will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
