He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Merritt Schultz; his daughters, Leslie Schultz and Kerri Mink (Edward "Ted"); his parents, Gerald Schultz and Virginia Schultz; his brothers, John "Jack" Schultz (Patti) and Gerald Schultz (Kelly); his cousin Kenneth "Kenny" Schultz (Marsha); his granddaughters, Blakely and Kendalyn Mink; and his godson Anthony "Nino" Bianchi (Maggie). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
