He was predeceased by: his father Harry Harvey; his father-in-law Roger Herrmann; and his niece Katie Herrmann. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Harvey (Darold); his wife Kristy Herrmann; his sons, Jake and Luke; his sister Amy Ulm (Chris); his nephews, Christopher and Nicholas; his niece Stephanie; his mother-in-law Phyllis Herrmann; his brother-in-law Keith Herrmann (Joetta); his nephews, Justin and Jeremy; his niece Lillian; his brother-in-law Ken Herrmann (Rose); and his nieces and nephews, Alex, Matthew, Heather and Sarah.

Viewing was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home (1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Go Fund me for the boy's future.
