He was predeceased by: his parents, Inga and Sverre; his wife LaVerne; and his sister Gunda Carlson (late Dale). He is survived by: his children, Linda Schultz (Walter), Judy Brauner (Larry), James Johansen (Deborah) and Debra Johansen-Goh (Chris). He is also survived by grandchildren, fourteen adored great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
