He was predeceased by: his parents, William Darrell and Evelyn Darrell (Roether); his wife Betty Pracht; and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his sons, David (Lisa) of Iowa and Steven (Joan) of Michigan; his grandchildren, Caitlin, Fallon, Andrew, Lucas and Jordan; and his stepgrandchildren, Alexandra, Catherine, Victoria and Nicholas.
