She was predeceased by: her daughter Aimee Dowell; her father-in-law Rollin Dowell (Ramona); and her sister Norma. She is survived by: her husband Dean "Doc" Dowell Sr. of Scales Mound; her sons, Dean Dowell Jr. (Laura) of Galena and Ben Dowell (Becky) of Scales Mound; her grandchildren, Riley and Hallie; her stepfather Virgil Carroll; and also Helen Carroll. She is also survived by her brother, sisters, brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
