He was predeceased by: his parents, Gleason Donald and Grace Louise Nice Durflinger; and his nephew Matthew Lehmkuhl. He is survived by: his wife Janice Carrell; his son Andy Stevens of Saybrook; his grandsons, Clayton and Garrett Stevens of Saybrook; his sisters, Kay Vincent (George) of Hahira, GA, Nancy Kiper of Colfax and Judy Shelander (Wesley) of Rockdale, TX; his parents-in-law, Jim and Sharon Carrell; and his sisters, Diana (Randy Stauffer) and Jane (Rick Tjarks). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
