He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace Hecht and Alvah Hecht; his wife Jeretta Catherine Leu; his children, Bruce Matthew Hecht (Mary Ann) of Lovington and Laura Jane Young (Robert) of San Carlos, California.; his granddaughter Lisa Bertetto (John); his great grandchildren, John Victor and Leo Bruce of Sullivan; and his brothers, Ross Hecht of Lincoln, Nebraska., Dean and Boyd.
