She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Carl; her daughters, Mikayla and Mariska; her mother Bonnie Elmer of Champaign; her sister Cindy Dodds of Urbana; her stepsiblings, Rob, Mike Elmer and Paula Arroyo; and also Rocky.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lupus Foundation of American or the Champaign County Humane Society.
