He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James O'Malley and Kathryn Saulmon O'Malley; his brother-in-law Robert Scherer; his daughters, Michelle Pellett (Ben) of Piper City and Tina Larson of Holton, Kansas; his sister Kathleen Scherer; his grandchildren, Jamie Maple, Jessica Maple, Talos O'Malley, Trenton Williams, Benjamin Pellett, Lucas Pellett, Andrew Pellett and Kayleigh Pellett; his nephew Karl Scherer (Colleen); and his niece Elizabeth Gegg (Patrick). He was also cherished by 3 great- grandchildren, 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
